My Adventures with
Personal Stories of Working with Subtle Energies
As one journeys in life, we will usually have experiences that move us in one direction or another. For example, I had a significant dream spelling out E.S.P. and that led me to meet John U.K., my spiritual guide and teacher. But another twist of events happened when I had my first acupuncture experience. These are my notes from these initial acupuncture treatments back in the summer of 2010, which then moved me toward the path of Energy Medicine.
I laid face up on the acupuncture table, eyes closed, waiting for Pat, the acupuncturist, to come in the room. I felt like I was in an operating room theater with hundreds of people observing me. I opened my eyes and could see I was physically alone in the room, but when I closed my eyes again, I could SEE hundreds of people above me, as if waiting for things to start.
Pat came into the room and asked how I was doing. I chuckled and said something about there are too many people here observing me. I thought she would laugh, but she didn't. She said, "hold on, I'll be right back" and then left the room. She returned after a minute and asked now asked if it was OK. "Yes," I told her, "there are now only a handful of nonphysical people here." She then explained how she usually requests "help" with a new patient but had never heard of this much help stepping in to assist before now. She then began a series of acupuncture treatments.
I saw an "Old Chinese Master" in the room with Pat as if he was here to assist with my treatments. I saw him shaking his head at times, and then I saw him change shapes, becoming like liquid, and even entering my inner body through one of the needle points. I could "see" him move things within my body, essentially taking over the treatment. I was not afraid, just rather amazed, and just observed, watching him work as if he was deeply involved in repairs.
In one treatment, I could feel a burning sensation beginning in the center core of my body. The heat was deep within and I could feel it starting to spread and advance to other parts of my body. The image of a paper being lit by a fire popped into my mind. It was as if this paper had been lit by a match in the middle of the paper and was now rapidly spreading to consume the entire piece of paper. I could now see a similar image happening within my body; a fire had been lit within me and it was as if my entire inner body was being rapidly consumed with a fire; just like what had happened to that sheet of paper.
In my mind, I could now see that all my insides had been burned and consumed with this quick and intense flame. The inside of my body was now empty and hollow. I could see empty space within my body, all charred and black only held together with charred skin.
When I looked outside of my body, everything looked normal. No fire, no evidence of this fire whatsoever. It functioned just the same. But when I looked within my body, it was dark, hollow, black, sooty, and charred. Everything was now gone.
During another acupuncture treatment, the old Chinese Master once again began his work, but this time he worked above me as if my body was a table and he manipulated the energy from above. As he did this, I could see deep reds, bright oranges, and even some yellows and hints of green all moving around inside my body while he worked above my body.
I then could see the presence of another person in the room. This person was female and she reminded me of a Priestess, resembling images of a Priestess I had seen in some Tarot cards. I did not know her but could feel this persons importance. She appeared to be an observer to this event. The images in my mind then changed back to what was going on within me and I could see that I was almost to the summit of a long and difficult mountain climb. I felt the energy change on top of my body, as if it was changing and morphing into something new, almost like that sensation I would get right before experiencing a kundalini, but I knew this was not a kundalini. I recognized the sensation a an energy shift - culminating and changing. It was becoming like a blanket of heat about 8 inches in depth, and coating my entire upper body and being distributed over my body. It was hot, almost like fire, but not burning. I was not afraid.
In my mind I could see that last week's acupuncture session had the visual experience of a fire burning within me, but this week, there was nothing within me - I was hollow, or that is how I perceived my inner self. But this time, the fire was on top of my reclined body. In addition, I could see a bright red and deep orange colors in this blanket of fire energy that was laying on top of my body. My thoughts then changed and I could see it wasn't a fire at all, but was like a blooming flower and now in the open air!
My mind was taken back to the evolutionary process of man and the different layers of energy that have been created around humans over millenniums of time. Each of these layers of new energy had advanced the development of humankind to new levels of awareness and abilities, and it seemed this was not occurring through this visual change of change I was witnessing on top of my body.
Pat, the acupuncturist, then walked back into the room and the acupuncture session was over but I could still feel the blanket of heat and those bright vibrant colors on top of me. I was surprised she didn’t see what I was feeling as it was so vivid and real to me. I even waved my hand over my body as I lay on the table to show her, and as I waved my hand over my body, I could feel the wave of the heat change to cool and follow my hand. When I moved my hand back to my side, the heat returned and I could feel and see the vibrant reds and oranges of this blossoming. I was now also aware I was able to direct and change this energy with a wave of my hand! I was amazed at this discovery.
I wanted to know why and how these experiences were happening to me during acupuncture. Pat had no explanation, but suggested I may want to take some Chinese Medicine classes to learn more about Acupuncture, thinking this may help me discover my needed answers. So I did. Those classes at Chinese Medicine school then led me to Qi-gong, one of the branches of Chinese Medicine - the branch of directing and sensing Qi for purposes of healing.
These events turned into becoming a type of trigger, which then moved me to take a certain direction and path in my life. This is how nudges from your Higher Self or the Astral Plane often work - you do something that at first seems benign, but it becomes a trigger to help you change your course. This is often how we get our life on course - nudges that spark interest, curiosity, and even passion.
