My Adventures with
Personal Stories of Working with Subtle Energies
Significant dreams are often a message we bring from your Higher Self, Our Spiritual Guide, or from our astral travels. The dream then becomes a message to our physical self to sense and interpret. The ability to interpret those messages is a skill and also a spiritual gift and is continually being developed. Let me share an example with you about how a message may be created and placed inside a dream.
I was having many dreams that included the image of Adam Lambert, the American Idol singer. I do not know Adam Lambert except through American Idol and his music, but his image was starting to show up in several of my dreams for several months. I even began to wonder what my connection to Adam Lambert was because it was such a frequent occurrence for his image to show up in my dreams. But I soon found the reason why.
During an acupuncture experience, which is a very relaxed activity where Qi is allowed to flow freely, in my mind I saw a young friend of the family who had died rather unexpectedly. He took the opportunity to come visit me in this acupuncture treatment where I was relaxed and the normal barriers of life seemed to be removed. This young man’s name was Adam, and shortly after this experience of seeing him during the acupuncture treatment, I soon realized those dreams of Adam Lambert were really dream messages about THIS Adam. My mind had created a type of avatar (Adam Lambert) to be used for the family friend.
With this awareness, I was able to go back over those dreams and obtain the awareness about the messages this family friend, Adam, had shared on some astral travel visits.
Sometimes when we dream, the message doesn't become clear until much later. Sometimes the people in our dreams are not really who they appear to be but are a representation. We get better at interpreting dreams with practice.
