My Adventures with
Personal Stories of Working with Subtle Energies
When I first met John U.K., a Spiritual Being, I was in torment about the Mormon Church. I struggled between what I was FEELING and what I was told to do by my religion. I would zig and zag between trusting myself Vs complying with what I had been taught. So when I met John U.K., I wanted to know what to do about the Mormon church.
I was rather surprised by John U.K.'s advice. He essentially said it didn't matter - it was my choice. He said it is just a religion - there are some things that are good about the Mormon Church and some things that aren't. "The good thing is that the Mormons teach progression." he said. [The Mormon Church teaches that we are on a journey to become Gods and Goddesses - progression].
The Mormon Church's founder, Joseph Smith, was visited by Spiritual Beings. Years later, Smith started a Church - the Mormon Church. With this type of beginning, you can assume the initial focus of the religion would be on trying to have others replicate the experience of interacting with angels. It would also have a focus on learning how to create your own spiritual experiences. This initial group of people even started to explore using the tool of sex to help create spiritual energy to have more spiritual experiences. But they got hung up on the idea of HOW to have more sex and concluded the men needed more wives to have more sex (John UK said they got the solution wrong here - it should have been the WOMEN being able to have more male sexual partners rather than the men needing more sexual partners. Men climax once and it is over, where as a woman can have multiple climaxes). Anyway, this led them to begin the practice of polygamy.
The decision to have multiple wives got the community upset so they ran the Mormons out of town. Eventually the Mormons kept on getting kicked out everywhere they went so they ended up relocating to a very remote place - the barren lands of Utah. This shift led them to now focus on survival skills rather than on developing god-like skills. They set up structure, rules, order, authority, and enforced obedience.
Since my initial conversation about religion with John U.K.,, I decided to put my focus on using spiritual energy rather than on religion. The more I work with this subtle, spiritual energy, the more I am amazed of what is possible. The wonders are endless and the variety of experiences are astonishing.
For me, I have realized that religion is an organization, but spirituality, and interacting with spiritual energy, is more of a lifestyle. It can be lived with or without the structure of a religion.
